Estimate Your Cost
lbs
How would you like your pellets bagged?
Estimated total: $20.00
Processing $20.00 + bags $0.00
Based on $4 per pound of incoming raw fiber, plus $1 for each smaller bag from us. Fiber loses some weight (dirt, lanolin, moisture) as it becomes pellets, so the bag count is the most you’d need. Shipping is not included. Your final cost is confirmed after we weigh and inspect your fiber, so please don’t send payment until you receive our invoice.
Preparing Your Fiber
- It should pull apart by hand. Heavily felted or matted fiber can’t be made into pellets.
- Pick out manure. Clumps bigger than a fingernail are too big.
- No debris. No metal, trash, tack, tags, or anything else swept up from the barn floor.
- Label it. Put your name on every bag or box, matching the name on your request.
